Having visitors during the holiday season can seem overwhelming and stressful. With Thanksgiving only two weeks away, it’s time to make preparations for guests staying with you. You could consider putting together a welcome basket for anyone staying with you. Some important things to include would be travel soaps, brochures of local attractions (especially if the person staying with you is from out of town), a bath towel for them to use while they stay with you, and a book (preferably one they might like). If children will be visiting, make sure that breakable things and dangerous items (sharp objects or cleaning agents) are kept out of the way.
Take the stress out of the holiday and plan ahead. Don’t wait till the day before your guests arrive to put things together. Delegate where you can – there is more than enough to go around. A way for you time enjoy time with your guests even more would be to have a personal chef come in and prepare your meals for you. Why stress when the help you need is available? Holiday Assistants is always available to help our clients have the best holiday season ever!
